We spoke with Jamie Stuart, owner and designer for Polly and Esther, on how the brand keeps evolving. “I have been designing Plaid shirts for 18 years. I think that the most important thing is to keep it fresh and new. We are constantly changing and plugging in new colors to make the plaids relevant to today’s fashions and trends. This year, we added the sweater sleeves and hoods to keep the styles and bodies different than just the ordinary plaid shirt. We also added Sherpa in the hood lining! Just wait until next year!”
