Halloween is October 31, 2015 and I am sure we are all in need of the perfect costume. Here are a few “do it yourself” costumes and we even have one for our men!
Women
Scarecrow
You can easily create a scarecrow costume out of a few of your favorite items you wear on a daily basis. We chose a Poly and Esther plaid button down with the colors of orange, brown, and green to make it go more with the fall/Halloween theme. Pair this plaid top with your favorite skinny jeans and add a pair of brown boots. Top of the costume with a brown floppy hat! To achieve more of a scarecrow look can you have straw hang out of your boots and plaid top. Also, add some face painting details for an overall scarecrow look!
Rosie the Riveter
Rosie the Riveter is always an easy, last minute costume idea. Wear our Thread and Supply Chambray Top with a pair of black Flying Monkey pants or a pair of shorts. We went with pants just in case it gets chilly on Halloween. Grab your combat boots and add a red bandana to your hair and you are good to go! You can find the red bandana for a dollar at Wal-Mart.
Black Cat
Meow! Bring out your sassiness this Halloween by dressing up at a black cat. Grab your little black dress, we chose the Piko t-shirt dress for comfort and our Coalition Black Leather Jacket with thigh-high boots for a perfect sassy Halloween costume. Complete this sassy look with a pair of cat ears and tail that you can also find at Wal-Mart for under ten dollars. To achieve more of a black cat look, add some face painting details.
Mini Mouse
Mini Mouse is always a fun and easy costume idea. Grab a pair of red Candy Rain Leggings and a black Piko Top with a pair of black Converse tennis shoes. Compete the Mini Mouse look with a pair of ear that you can find at Wal-Mart or a party store for under ten dollars. To achieve more of a Mini Mouse look, add some face painting details.
Men
Lumberjack
Alright guys, this one is for you. I put together the perfect lumberjack outfit! Grab our Neff Beard Beanie and pair it with our 1897 Plaid Button Down and a pair of Silver Jeans for an easy but fun Halloween costume.
