Introducing: Paige
Hi everyone! We are so excited that our Glik’s team is constantly growing and we wanted to introduce you to our newest buyer, Paige Grimmer. Paige recently graduated from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) with a degree in Textile Apparel Management. She is from St. Louis, Missouri, so she is so happy that she was able to find a job closer to her hometown!

Paige is super excited to have landed a buying position with Glik’s. She is currently the buyer of girls, boys, and infant and toddlers, clothes! She is really looking forward to learning new things and tackling new responsibilities at Glik’s, especially since this is her first job right out of college. She is ready to learn and grow at Glik’s by making new friends and experiencing new opportunities.
It has been a whirlwind for Paige since she came on board a couple weeks ago. Within her first week of the job, she was able to experience her first buying trip! Paige and a few other buyers went to New York City, New York where she was able to get first-hand (and hands-on) experience of what her new position is all about. Paige said she was, “sooo excited! It was so fun, but we were constantly moving; it was exhausting.” They met with a handful of vendors during the short trip that they were progressing from one meeting to the next.
One of the coolest things about the trip to NYC was that Paige and the buyers were able to have a few of their vendor meetings in the Empire State Building. Everyone is always so busy in New York, so she was able to witness that as well. Paige’s favorite thing about her first buying trip was, “having ownership of my new position at Glik’s. It is a great feeling and so rewarding to see the buying process from start to finish. From picking out the clothes in person in the showrooms during the vendors’ presentations, to writing my first purchase order, to seeing the clothes get delivered to the stores for customers to buy.”
Now that the business talk is aside… let’s get to know Paige a little better!
Hometown: Originally from O’Fallon, Illinois but now St. Louis, Missouri is her home.

Hobbies: Trying new foods/restaurants, spending time with her friends, taking her dog on walks.
