Introducing: Sam!
Hi everyone! We wanted to introduce you to our newest buyer and member of our team, Sam Ryner. Sam recently graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a Marketing Minor! Sam previously worked in our Holland Boutique store in Michigan and was thrilled to hear that our Home Office was looking for a new buyer. She decided to pack up from her home state and move down to the Midwest for this amazing opportunity to become a buyer.

Sam is super excited to be a part of the Home Office team and still can’t believe she is living out her dream job as a fashion merchandising buyer. She is currently our assistant buyer of women’s bottoms, women’s outerwear and women’s athletic clothes! Sam is having so much fun learning new things each day on the job, as well as exploring her new home town of St. Louis, Missouri!
While working in one of our brick and mortar stores, Sam loved how every day was different. Each day, there were different customers, different situations, and new clothing that arrived, so she was always on her toes. She is looking forward to working in the same fast-paced environment at home office, but now is getting to see how the process works from the other side! So far, her favorite part about working in Home Office is learning the buying process and seeing all of her work from start to finish. From picking out and buying the clothes, to sending them to the stores and being purchased by customers. Sam said, “I am learning new things every single day and my goal is to focus on and master the categories I buy.” She also is excited about getting to meet all of her amazing coworkers, exploring a new city, and attending trade shows.
Speaking of trade shows, a few weeks ago Sam was able to attend the largest trade show of the year in Vegas, MAGIC. According to Sam, “MAGIC was so much more than I expected, it was huge!” Since she was a fashion merch major, Sam had been hearing and learning about MAGIC since her Freshmen year of college. “It was so cool to have that image in my mind for the past few years, and actually becoming reality!” Her favorite part of her first show was being around SO many people with common fashion interests and being able to see and choose product that no one else has seen before.

Favorite Food: Ice Cream
Pets: An English Bulldog named Stanley!

Fashion Trends She Hates: Wearing white socks with all black tennis shoes, tucking in your shirt without wearing a belt, wearing a bralette as a top, LOW RISE PANTS.
Once again, we are all so excited to have Sam on board at corporate office! We love her excitement and passion and we cannot wait to see how she grows with us!
