Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we’re so excited to officially kick off the holiday season. If you’re like any of us at Glik’s, holiday season has already begun! Since celebrating Thanksgiving can be chaotic and exciting, while you are catching up with old friends, spending quality time with family, and shopping for gifts, we thought we would help you out a bit by putting together a few outfits! All of these outfits are available to purchase online, but if anything, we wanted to give you some inspiration on what you could wear during this time of year!
The Outfit for That Holiday Party
Blazers are such a hot trend this year, and we just received this style from Fate that is perfect for the holidays! Velvet AND shoulder pads? This fashion statement is definitely making a comeback. This look is great to wear when you want to dress up a bit without being too fancy. Layer the blazer over a lace camisole, pair with a simple pair of dark wash jeggings, and complete the look with trendy white ankle booties!
The Outfit for Friendsgiving
Friendsgiving is a time to celebrate with your closest friends while also indulging in LOTS of food. However, you still have to look cute. (sometimes) This outfit we put together is a great option to wear to Thanksgiving, or to any other time during this season! Start with this snow leopard cardigan from Lumiere, then add a super versatile brami (comes in 6 colors), a pair of high-rise button front denim jeans, and a pair of lug boots from Qupid Shoes! Don’t forget to accessorize with your favorite bralette or pony scarf.
The Outfit for When You Eat Too Much
Okay, so everyone knows the best part about Thanksgiving is eating way too much good food, guilt-free. So, if you’re like any of us and plan on eating multiple helpings of your Grandma’s stuffing.. it may be a good idea to prepare your outfit around that. A sweater dress is the perfect option for this scenario! It is warm and stylish, while still giving you plenty of room to eat as much as you’d like. We paired this one with a pair of knee high heeled boots from Soda Shoes, a fedora hat, and fastened a statement belt around the waist to give the dress some shape. Simple, easy, done!
The Outfit for Black Friday Shopping
After Thanksgiving comes the largest retail shopping day of the year, and we’re going to have you prepared for it. You’ll want to be comfy and wear shoes that are good to walk in, so we’ve got you covered. Throw on your Simply Southern Sherpa hoodie, a pair of The North Face joggers, and slip on some Vans! This outfit is literally great for anytime you need to run errands and it’s cold outside, or for when you just want to cuddle up on the couch. Oh, and, don’t forget your Hydro Flask!
