For the past 3 years Glik’s has celebrated TOMS One Day Without Shoes under the St. Louis, Missouri Arch. The whole Home Office shed their shoes and walked the Arch grounds barefoot. One Day Without Shoes is a special day that Glik’s helps TOMS raise awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life. This day is for spreading the ONE FOR ONE message!
We set up outdoor activities, played games, made crafts, shared IMO’s pizza, and passed out goody bags to the public. If you don’t already know, the Midwest weather is fickle and can never decide what climate to relax in. The first two years were bright and sunny, the public was out in the masses enjoying the warmth. Our feet were lucky. Yes, we were barefoot, but we still had the luxury of warmth and soft soil.
It was bound to happen sometime, so why not this year… 
Rain. Cold rain. Lots of it.
But we were not alone. Some of our Northern locations had snow.
No complaints, though! Despite the wet and cold, we had fun in our bare feet! Here are a few of our favorite photos from TOMS One Day Without Shoes 2013…
