In 1873, Levi Strauss along with a tailor manufactured the first “waist overalls” or what they are most commonly know as today, “blue jeans”. Worn by anyone and everyone, Levi’s jeans were something people worked and lived their lives in. Levi’s has always pushed sustainability in their denim and clothing, especially with climate change. Being one of the largest apparel companies and global leader in jeans, Levi’s will continue to remain a leader and sustainable in an always changing world.

Levi’s 501 jeans and shorts remain a favorite style from Levi’s. Levi’s 501 Originals button fly design a key detail as these styles were created before the invention of the zipper. Levi’s is known for their denim as secondhand and people constantly revamp the style of their denim. 501 jeans would be often cut into cutoff shorts until Levi’s created the 501 shorts. With this do-what-you-want style, Levi’s has defined “being cool” for decades, and still continues to do so.
